Activity Clubs

This is a 8-week class for homeschoolers in grades 5-8 only. Debate Club meets every Monday 11:00am-12:15pm cst, beginning Sept. 8th until Oct. 27th. We will learn to research using cited sources, argue both sides (the affirmative and the negative) of current issues, develop critical thinking, public speaking, and persuasive skills, and practice weekly debate formats.

It's the perfect club for gamers ages 7-14 and is facilitated by our club leader, Ms. Jaleesa. Game Club is a 12-week club held every Monday, Oct. 13th until Dec. 29th 7:00-8:00P CST.

Calling all book readers! Join Friends of Cabrini for the 6th year of our year-round Readers Club. Readers Club shares age-appropriate and classic literature that is culturally relevant and academically driven to readers in grades 5-8. Readers Club meets once a month on Tuesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm CST, beginning Nov. 11th, 2025 to Oct. 13th, 2026.

Welcome to Fashion Drawing Club. This club offers a fun, educational experience for young designers to learn about fashion basics and garment construction. Perfect for creative learners interested in style and art! Dresses, shoes, pants, hats, etc. Join us every Thursday at 11:00-11:50A CST, beginning Nov. 6th, 2025 until Jan. 15th, 2026.

 Many of us have such fond childhood memories of corresponding with my pen pal, but we remember that it was sometimes hard to keep the correspondence going. With class pen pals, your students will likely get stuck at some point. Registraiton for the Pen Pal Project begins Nov. 1st, 2025 until Nov. 23rd, 2025.
