FIELD TRIPS/TOURS

Calling all Chicago-area homeschooling and unschooling families! Join Friends of Cabrini for a hands-on exploration of the cosmos at the Adler Planetarium, 1300 S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60605. This field trip is designed for students in grades K–8 to step into the roles of scientists, engineers, and explorers. ​We will gather to marvel at the history of space travel, investigate the mysteries of our solar system, and see the universe through the eyes of trailblazing astronomers. Hey Friends! Level up your homeschooling curriculum! Join Friends of Cabrini and explore the world of architecture and learn why design matters at the Chicago Architecture Center through hands-on activities for families. All local homeschool families are welcome to attend this free field trip. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout each activity to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. This is a free field trip on May 9, 2026 at 10:00A CST.
